I painted this work thinking about movement without pressure — about walking forward without fully knowing where you’re going, but trusting the light that appears along the way. For me, this painting is about being in between: between shadow and brightness, tension and calm, thought and feeling.
While working on it, I was paying close attention to my own state — how my body feels, how emotions shift, how light can change the way a moment is experienced. Painting this piece felt grounding and quiet. It allowed me to slow down and stay present, even when there was a subtle inner tension.
This work is part of an ongoing series where I explore introspection, emotional presence, and meditative states. I hope this painting brings a similar sense of warmth, stillness, and gentle focus into the space where it lives.”
